Description

This polka I have arranged for four accordions and bass/guitar. The story is about a poor old man in Jämtland, NW Sweden, that has a terrible cold that makes it impossible for him to listen to the accordion music. So, when it says "SNYYYYT!" it means that everybody blows their noses. And "snörvel" means "snrf".

I had fun writing it, hopefully you will have fun playing it. There is lyrics too - only in Swedish. It was written and recorded by Thore Skogman sometimes in the sixties and was something of a plague. Every Swede knows the line where he shouts for "medicine, medicine, medicine at once!".

It takes some practise, I presume, but I also think it is a great showpiece because that is the whole purpose with it.
